Our Buildings and Grounds
We are also aware that the environment in which children grow up shapes them. The campus is located on a beautiful 6,000 m² property in Kunratice, near Vídeňská Street. The property offers direct access to the Kunratice Forest.t.
The Buildings
The kindergarten buildings date to the early twentieth century, originally serving as accommodation for the keeper of Kunratice Forest. Several features of the original farmstead were preserved despite unsympathetic alterations carried out to convert the property into a state nursery during the communist era. We have worked hard to restore what we could. Today, our main building offers five fully equipped classrooms, a rest room, a kitchen, and dedicated spaces for both children and staff. The adjoining building houses two additional spacious classrooms used primarily for gymnastics, yoga, and shared activities and events.
Interior Spaces
Our interiors are natural and light-filled, divided into distinct zones to provide ample space for collaborative activities as well as independent free play, music, arts and crafts, and pre-primary preparation. Our educational materials are varied; their common defining qualities are relevance, quality, and genuine pedagogical utility.
Garden and Forest
Zeměkoule has a beautiful plot of around 5,000 m² stretching from K Zeleným domkům street all the way to the Kunratice forest, to which we have direct access and where we spend a great deal of time. The centre of Kunratice is just a stone's throw away and we visit it with the children regularly.
